Teaching Experience

• 2005-. Assistant Professor of Italian. Texas Tech University. Lubbock, Texas. As the only tenure-track faculty for Italian, my duties include teaching all levels of Italian, the coordination of the Italian program (including the Minor) and the creation of new courses, materials and syllabi.
• 2003-2005. Italian Coordinator and Lecturer at the Center for the Study of Languages. Rice University. Houston, Texas: Creation of new courses and development of syllabi. I taught all levels of Italian language and culture, using texts ranging from the Middle Ages to contemporary poetry and prose.
• 2002-2003. Teaching assistant for Elementary Italian. Rutgers University: Taught large groups of students, about thirty in each class.
• 1998-1999.Teaching assistant. Brown University.
